Nibbling on Nature
Alison has been a foraging tutor and guide since 2010. Based in the Irish Midlands, she travels throughout Ireland to harvest ingredients and share her passion for wild food, wild booze and wild medicine from hedgerow, bogland, woodland to coast. She is available for private tuition, group walks, workshops and cookery demonstrations for both adults and children. She also works at Frontier Bushcraft and particularly enjoys experimenting with indigenous cooking methods, preservation of wild food through the seasons, sustaining ourselves through a predominantly wild diet as well as using natural materials for practical and survival purposes.
