Lukasz Luczaj

Lukasz is a Professor of Ethnobotany and directs the Department of Botany, Institute of Biotechnology, University of Rzeszow in Werynia, Poland. He runs foraging courses in Poland.

He conducts scientific research, writing numerous articles for popular magazines, and has written two books - an encyclopaedia of wild edible plants of Poland (1000 species), and an encyclopaedia of edible insects and other invertebrates of Poland. Lukasz also runs a farm called Wild Garden - an informal centre for education on wild edible plants, permaculture and the ecological restoration of ecosystems. He also produces wild flower meadow seed.
