Foraging Teacher

Totally Wild UK

James Wood is an experimental wild food forager exploring the realms between wild plants, art and food. He’s the co-creator of the foraged book project - a 150 page wild food guide made entirely from wild materials, mushroom paper, oak gall ink, seaweed based glues, bark tanned skins, nettle thread and all hand written with a goose feather quill. Over the past 5 years he’s developed a range of wild food courses to be as engaging, exciting and immersive as possible and can be found exploring the wilds from Nottingham through to the Lake District collecting to harvest plants and try new ways of eating wild foods or with groups to pass on what he’s picked up so far.
