Edwin has been running foraging teaching courses in the Netherlands for over 8 years and is also the author of 3 books on foraging in Dutch. He runs foraging courses, cooking and preserving workshops, and also collects and grows edible flowers and produce that he supplies to restaurants. Edwin says "Our vision is that we as humans are born foragers and that we are part of the edible nature. Casa Foresta represents all facets of the edible wild nature. We provide different kinds of workshops ranging from picking mushrooms in the dark pine forests of the Veluwe, to the search of seaweed and shellfish on the wild coast of Zeeland. We offer training, corporate events, and writing books related to the edible nature. In this way we aim to bring the edible nature in all its forms closer to the man as a born forager."
